Cross off your bucket list on an epic hiking and adventure in Morocco. Wander souks, roam palaces, smell fragrant spices, taste tajine, trek the high Atlas Mountains, and play with camels in the Sahara Desert.

    Scarves or Shawls - Morocco is a conservative country, so we recommend packing light scarfs or shawls to wear over your shoulders out of respect. Linens - Linen or loose fitting and breathable fabric is ideal for warmer destinations.

Day 1: Welcome to Morocco
Fly into the Marrakech Menara Airport where you’ll meet your guide for the 9 days of adventure. We’ll take you to your beautiful riad where you’ll check in and get settled into your room before joining the crew for a traditional Moroccan meal. Welcome dinner at 8pm. Fly into Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) and arrive by 6pm to take advantage of the transfer.
Day 2: Travel to Dades Gorges
Enjoy breakfast at the Riad before heading south to escape the busy life of Marrakech. The journey will take us through small Berber villages, across the High Atlas Mountains, and to the famous peak of Tizi n'Tichka. We’ll make our way to UNESCO world heritage site, The Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, which has been featured in a number of western films. After lunch, we’ll head to Dades Gorges passing through Ouarzazate, the "hollywood of Africa". We’ll continue the journey through the Valley of the Roses, the city of Skoura, and arrive towards the middle of the canyons to stay in Dades Gorges overnight.
Day 3: Hiking Dades Gorges
Time to stretch those legs, get outside, and hike! Climb to the very top of Dades Gorges for an unforgettable view. We’ll take a break near the Nomad caves and enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea with a local Berber family before heading down to the grand canyons of Dades Gorges. Later, experience a traditional meal with a local Berber family. After dinner, you'll have the opportunity to adorn your skin in henna while enjoying live music played by locals.
Day 4: Sahara Campout
Eat a hearty Moroccan breakfast before today’s adventure! On our journey to the desert, we’ll see thousands of Kasbahs and drive through colorful Berber villages. We’ll pass by Tinghir and its beautiful palm grove and continue to the Todgha Gorge where we’ll trek along the tall canyons, a much loved trail for mountain climbers. After, we’ll continue on to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. We’ll saddle up on camels for a sunset desert ride through the sand dunes to arrive at our camp in an oasis. Sip on Moroccan mint tea upon arrival, listen to traditional music, dance if you feel so inclined, settle into camp and enjoy dinner with the group. We’ll spend the night in our nomadic tents or outside under the shooting stars with our bellies full of food.
Day 5: Travel Day to Skoura Valley
After a memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, wake up early and enjoy the silence paired with an unforgettable sunrise. Ride your camels out of the desert to meet your driver, then leave for Gnawa in Khamlia for yummy tea and more traditional tunes. We’ll stop for food in Nkoub, then continue to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley. We’ll spend the night in Skoura Valley.
Day 6: Hiking in the Mountains
We’re off to Imlil, a small village in the mountains! Most popular for its trails, and widely known for its high peaks and stunning views. Today, you can chill or do some more hiking & exploration. Enjoy a picnic lunch and dinner on the house today.
Day 7: Toubkal National Park
After a relaxing day, we will hike Toubkal National Park. We'll trek through the park and stop by a nearby waterfall! Enjoy a picnic lunch outside with the group and dinner together in the evening.
Day 8: Explore Marrakech
We’ll finish our journey over the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech mid-morning. There will be an optional spa treatment for those who need it! The afternoon will be devoted to discovering Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city known as the "Pearl of the South”. Visiting places such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens. We’ll return by noon and hit the ground running again in the afternoon as we explore the souks and world famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The square is buzzing with story tellers, acrobats, snake-charmers, magicians and much more. Join the group for one last meal to cheers to your new friendships and the adventure of a lifetime!
Day 9: Time to Say Goodbye
We’re sad to see you go! We'll drop you off at the airport to catch flights home.
