About this Adventure…

OUR MOST POPULAR EVENT! Whiskey Jack style!Join us while we explore Yoho National Park and Takakkaw Falls, and most importantly meet and connect with other female adventurers! This is YOUR adventure! This all ladies meet up is at your own pace. Enjoy the back country cabin, challenge yourself on hikes, zen to mountain yoga, capture the beauty of the mountains, and more!”Strangers had the opportunity to become friends. When it’s all women, you take lead, push further, you laugh harder, and you summit that mountain.” // Kieren Britton – The Lady Alliance A O Wheeler Meet Up. “This community and my experience on their First Annual Adventure to the A.O. Wheeler Hut in Glacier National Park, has left such a positive imprint in my life. For someone who was new to the hiking world at the beginning of this summer, it was very easy to find inspiration on social media, which usually turned into being overwhelmed. The true inspiration came from when I discovered The Lady Alliance.” // Kelsey Derkach **This is one of our 2 long weekend options! If this weekend doesn’t work for you, check out our A O Wheeler Weekend!**

Level of Difficulty:

No previous experience is necessary but a general fitness level is needed. You will need to carry your personal gear plus food and water for a short distance each day; approximately 2km. We will camp close to a hut that is booked, so if you are finding the cold too much you can always retreat to the heat.

Please note:

There is no guide present on this adventure. These hikes are taken at your own risk.

Transportation to hut is not provided. You must purchase a park pass to enter the park.

Registration can only be completed once you have read our terms and conditions.

FAQs

How are The Lady Alliance events different from other events?

The number one goal is to introduce you to other kick-ass, adventurous women. It’s all about building tribes! Our second goal is to introduce you to the outdoors. It’s quite the thing to witness, putting a group of women who are passionate about the outdoors in an epic location. We know it’s a cliche thing to say… but it’s where the magic happens.

Do you arrange transport to the event?

No, all transport to and from the event will be your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Is food included?

Yes. Unless otherwise specified in the trip itinerary or information.

Is there a minimum age for this event?

Unless otherwise mentioned, 19+ for all events in Canada. 21+ for all events in the USA.

I want to book with friends. How do I do that?

The best way is to add all of the tickets to one cart, that way you know if we have enough spaces.

I’m coming solo. Is that okay?

YES! More than 70% of women who sign up for our trips, sign up solo.

Is a deposit required to secure my place?

Yes. Deposits vary from trip to trip. Check each individual event page for details.

What if I need to cancel?

Please let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds but you can transfer your ticket. If you can no longer make the event, please get in touch to discuss transferring your ticket.

What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of The Lady Alliance getaways, we don’t offer refunds. We do, however, offer transfers. You are responsible for finding someone to transfer your ticket to and arranging the exchange of funds for your ticket. If you can no longer make the event, please get in touch to discuss transferring your ticket.

Who will be managing our trip?

One of our awesome trained ambassadors or certified guides will be running your trip.

Do I have to join in on all the activities?

You can still join us on the getaway, the ticket price remains the same. You are not required to join in on all the activities. You do you!

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Let’s be honest, Mother Nature never cooperates. That’s why we love her. Keep an eye on the forecast and pack accordingly. We never let uncooperative weather ruin our fun!

I have another question…

Share with your friends!
