Day 2: Let’s Go E-Biking!
Today we’ll wake up and enjoy a light breakfast at home. We'll have time this morning to explore the downtown area of Port Angeles, a bewitching seaside-meets-mountain town in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains. The town is loaded with cozy coffeehouses, whimsical bookshops, and eclectic galleries and shops. We will take our first look around town, grab a fresh coffee or juice along with a bakery treat and peek around some of the local shops.
In the early afternoon, we will head out for a day of E-Biking with Discover E-Bikes. Electric bikes offer extended range and ease of use. We will meet with a local biking guide, who will show us some scenic paths nearby. This exciting biking tour will finish around approximately 4:00 p.m.
We will return to town to enjoy a delicious Pacific Northwest sea-to-fork dinner, curated at a local restaurant around 7:30 p.m. Afterwards enjoy the rest of the evening unwinding at our accommodations or head out on the town for a night cap.
Day 3: Yoga, Whale Watching, & Sunset Hike
Begin your day with a nourishing and delicious breakfast, prepared for you by your loving hosts. Afterwards, start your day off by indulging in a relaxing and meditative outdoor morning yoga session with a local female instructor from
Poser Yoga beginning at 9:00 am.
A little after 10:00 a.m., we will head as a group over to the Port Angeles Wharf, located downtown, to embark on a Puget Sound Express whale watching adventure! With a little Salish Sea magic, we’ll catch a glimpse of a majestic humpback and/or orca during our excursion. This time of year is the best for spotting both of these incredible creatures along with chances to catch glimpses of other wildlife. Our tour will be guided by Puget Sound Express, a local organization committed to habitat restoration efforts and wildlife advocacy in the area!
After a day of admiring the wildlife and scenery of the Puget Sound, we will head on a nearby hike to catch sunset with sweeping vistas of subalpine meadows, the strikingly vast Olympic Mountains, and salt water flickering off the Straight of Juan De Fuca.
Day 4: Goodbye Port Angeles, Until We Meet Again!
Wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and enjoy breakfast before we say our good-byes and head our separate ways. Check-out is 10 a.m.
We encourage you to spend the rest of your day exploring the area with a hike, visit one of the beautiful beaches on the Olympic peninsula or head out and explore more of Port Angeles.
