After meeting up with Katie, your adventure starts with a hike of the Toadstool Hoodoos. Hoodoos are unique and colorful formations that are throughout the area. The Toadstools are a great area with many together. We’ll enjoy a little over 2 miles here.

Once we’re done we will head to Antelope Marina on Lake Powell where we’ll have a pontoon boat rented for the rest of the day. We will cruise through Navajo Canyon under  massive sandstone cliffs with so much beauty around us. For dinner we will have a cookout, and an option to swim if desired.

After we arrive back at the marina, we’ll head toward our house in Wahweap. On our way we will stop at an overlook to enjoy the sunset. At the house you will have time to settle in, rest and get to know the other ladies joining this long weekend adventure!
Day 2: Monument Valley
Rise and shine!!! It is the first of two early morning starts. We’ll leave bright and early at 6:00 am with a grab and go breakfast. Then we will be on our way to Monument Valley.

Today's adventure is a backcountry tour of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. We will enjoy 3 ½ hours with our Navajo guide showing us all the iconic spots and wondrous vistas. We’ll also enjoy a musical performance and a visit to a Navajo Hogan.
After our tour we’ll enjoy lunch and then have some free time to explore the Monument Valley National Monument visitor’s center and of course we will venture to the iconic Forrest Gumo highway spot!

When we are ready, we’ll make our way back in the direction of the house with a stop at a Navajo National Monument about half way back. On our stop we'll hike out to the Betatakin Ruins overlook, a paved 1.5 miles. Then we will continue on on our way back to the house for dinner.

After dinner there is an option to hike a small loop section of the Page Rim trail, 1.7miles, to take in the sunset or you can relax at the house with a book, beverage or both!
Day 3: Horseshoe bend, from the top to the bottom
It's another rise and shine morning! This is the second of two bright and early 6:00am starts with a grab and go breakfast. We know it's early but trust's worth it! Our morning begins with a quick, short hike out to Horseshoe Bend where we will watch the sunrise. The hikes is 1.6 miles total.

After taking in the views of the mighty Colorado river, we make our way to Lee’s Ferry where we will get on the river and change our perspective from looking down to looking up. Our outfitter will drive us up the river 14 miles to view Glen Canyon Dam from the bottom. Then take us back 5 miles toward Lee’s Ferry and drop us off with kayaks. We’ll spend the rest of the day paddling the remaining 9 miles through the canyon.

Before we get on the river, you will have a chance to check out the nice petroglyph panel at our starting point and use the bathrooms. On the river we will enjoy flat water, take in stunning views and experience the peace of Marble canyon. Since we will be traveling with the river flow, we can stop and take advantage of some side hiking options if desired. Kayaking nine miles can go fast or slow depending on the amount of stops and the duration on the river will be determined by the group's pace.

Once we arrive back at Lee’s ferry, we’ll drive back home to enjoy a delicious dinner and relax the rest of the evening.
Day 4: Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Canyon X
Sleep in past 6 am today. We will have a slower start as we enjoy our last morning together. After breakfast, we will pack up, check out of the house and head out on a few final adventures.

Our first stop is Glen Canyon Dam. Here we can view both the lake and river sides, we will also have time to stop in the visitors center. After that we'll make the short drive to the Dam Overlook trailhead and take the short 1 mile hike to a stunning view of both the Dam and down river. From here you will be able to see where we were yesterday.

We will end our time together with a bang as we tour the iconic Antelope Canyon X. Our 1 ½ hour tour will be led by a member of the Navajo nation. They will take us through the tight, winding, stunning walls of this landmark canyon. This is the perfect way to close our time together!
We’ll head back to town and have a celebratory meal at Fiesta Mexicana. After lunch we will say our goodbyes (around 4:00 pm) and head our separate ways.
