Montana Campout
June 19-22, 2025
Summer camp for the Women Who Explore Community!
BOOKING IS LIVE!
For as long as we can remember, it has been a goal to host a HUGE outdoor women's camping event and this summer IT IS HAPPENING!! Women Who Explore will be hosting a women's summer camp at a private 400-acre ranch in Eureka, Montana from June 19-22, 2025. There will be camping and some glamping, games and giveaways, educational workshop and skill building classes, activities, river floats, movie nights and more!
LOCATION: TOBACCO RIVER RANCH
EUREKA, MONTANA
Welcome to big sky country! We chose the location of Tobacco River Ranch to host our first ever Summer Camp for a few reasons. First, it’s gorgeous. The photos don’t even really do it justice! Second, we really hit it off with the owners, Nikki and Karl, after the first phone call. Karl has always dreamed of hosting an event on his property that supports women. Nikki will also be leading our Summer Solstice Celebration for us. Third, this area of Montana is packed full of adventure and epic landscapes, but is still has a quiet charm. This property even connects to Rails to Trails. Last, this location met just about all of our requirements: 1.5 hours or less from an international airport, cabin and camping options, ability to book entire property, space to hold simultaneous classes, stunning landscapes, easy access to outdoor spaces to explore, water.
We had more requirements, but we won’t bore you with the details! Needless to say, this property is amazing and we can’t wait to share this experience with all of you. While visiting Tobacco River Ranch you should know that this is an actual working ranch complete with all the equipment and animals. The owners are working hard to restore their section of the Tobacco River to its original state so be mindful of wild plant life. They also ask that events are as plastic/waste free as possible! We’ll have more details on that below, but it’s just another reason why we love this property.
About Eureka
Eureka is located on Highway 93, a scenic one hour drive north from Whitefish/Kalispell. Eureka is the perfect postcard for the rural Montana lifestyle. The small downtown has a handful of restaurants and stores filled with friendly faces and lots of summer time events - from the weekly farmers market, to the Amish auction, to Rendezvous Days parades, The Quilt Show, County Fair and Bull Thing, there's great activities for all ages. And we're walking/biking distance to the Historical Village, downtown Eureka, and the County Fairgrounds - but far enough away from the roads that you won't see or hear them!

This is the perfect time of year to float the river! We recommend between 3pm-5pm, but it’s entirely up to you and the class schedule you create! We will have floats available to check out, but we definitely recommend bringing your own if you have one! You’ll have the opportunity to float either Friday or Saturday… or BOTH!
Afternoon ice-cream! Come by the Community Kitchen in the afternoon to grab your ice-cream :) Exact time TBD, but we’ll make sure you can get yours between classes!Don’t forget to work on your BINGO card!
-
Our evening starts with a Summer Solstice Circle + Ceremony:
We will gather in circle (in communion with people all over the world) in an ancient tradition to celebrate the longest day of the year, and a return to the light, with a four elements invocation and bonfire at the river.
Together, we will honor our own cycles of growth and seeds we wish to plant as the sun sets on the solstice.
Bring something small/personal from your altar representing any of the four elements, or find them at the ranch. (Suggestions: AIR=feather or lichen ~ FIRE=candle ~ WATER=a small vial from a creek near your home, or from the Tobacco River ~ EARTH=a special rock, seed, dirt, etc.) We will provide some representations of the elements, for those that might not have them or forget them!
Bring one intention that you’ll do to improve your life (seeds we are planting), and one habit or challenge that no longer serves you. Write the later on a piece of paper destined for the fire.
We have lots of classes and activities available for your choosing! When you book, you’ll be able to make your own schedule. Prefer to take just a couple classes and chill by the river and hangout with friends? You can do that! Maybe you want to take as many classes as possible to build up your skills! You can do that too!
Breakfast and lunch are both provided by Wyld Honey’s today and dinner is the local Taco Truck! You will have tokens to pay for your dinner, but nothing is needed for your breakfast and lunch.
We have special Summer Solstice celebrations in store for the evening!

Before you book, READ CAREFULLY through the following steps!
***Please note when booking that this trip does not follow our usual Cancellation Policy found in our Terms of Service. This trip, and all activities and classes booked, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
STEP 1: Choose Sleep Option
We have various options for basic cabins, VIP camping, Vanlife, or BYOT (Bring Your Own Gear). Please read through all the options carefully when booking. If you are planning on sharing accommodations with a friend (whether it’s a cabin, VIP, or BYOT), please share the details when booking. If you are booking a cabin with a friend, you MUST select the “Double Occupancy Add-On For Cabins Only” at checkout. Your friend will be emailed a separate booking link to pay for their spot and choose their classes. If you are sharing a tent in the BYOT or vehicle in the Vanlife area, you just book one of the same spots and note who you are sharing with at checkout. There is not an extra add-on.
STEP 2: Select Transportation if needed
The Available Options section starts with Group Transportation from FCA Airport. There is another option on the last day (Sunday) to book transportation back to the airport. If you need round-trip transportation, you will need to select both the Thursday transportation AND Sunday transportation. Specific details regarding pick-up and drop-off times will be shared at a later date. Please do not book flights until the transportation times have been confirmed with you.
STEP 3: Build your class/activities schedule
There are MANY class and activity options available! Classes and activities range in cost and group size. Classes and activities are on Friday and Saturday only. Each guest can choose up to 4 classes/activities per day maximum. If you select more than that, we reserve the right to cancel one or more of your classes. There is no minimum number of classes/activities you need to choose. Meaning you do not have to book any classes/activities and can choose to sit by the river the entire time, hike around the property, float in the river or explore the town of Eureka! There will be group activities outside of the class/activity schedule that you do not need to reserve since they are open to the entire group (river float, bonfire, movie night etc.). These will be listed in the schedule above, but not added as an option to book. Some classes/activities have limited spots so please be mindful of the classes you choose and know you are fully committed to attending before booking.
