We are headed out to the beautiful Wisconsin River for a full day (and then some) of kayaking or canoeing – your choice – followed by an evening of camping on a sandbar.
The day will begin at the Spring Green Boat launch at 9 AM. Please meet at the boat launch with your boats and everything you will need for the trip. (If you do not have a boat, but would like to join, please let me know.) We will then shuttle all vehicles to the Otter Creek boat launch. Parking at the launch is free.
Once all of the vehicles have been shuttled, we will pack up our boats and depart for an entire day full of beautiful views, sandbar hopping, swimming, nature and more!
Before the sun goes down, we will set up camp on a sandbar, make dinner and gather around a fire with music and new friends!
In the morning, we will pack up camp and head to the takeout. Takeout will be Sunday AM at the Orion Boat Launch. Total paddle length is 9 miles.
