WWE Sacramento – Hike to Fiske Peak (7.5 miles)

Come join Women Who Explore – Sacramento for a Fall hike to Fiske Peak via Blue Ridge Trail at Cache Creek Regional Park in Rumsey (Yolo County) !
- *Hike Start time: 10am (please arrive to the parking lot by 9:45 am – we will meet there)
- *Parking Fee: $10 (carpools are encouraged)
- *Approx. Miles: 7.5
- *Approx. Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft.
- *Difficulty: Hard

- Dogs are allowed on a leash
- Be sure to complete your smart waiver ahead of time!
Driving Directions: From Sacramento, head toward Woodland on I-5 North and then take the Hwy 16-Esparto exit. Follow Hwy 16 past Cache Creek Casino and the small towns of Guinda and Rumsey. Not long after Rumsey you’ll see the sign on the left for Cache Creek Canyon Regional Park.

*Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring layers, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lots of water (2.5-3 Liters), a lunch, and snacks.
The Blue Ridge Trail is an 7.5 mile trail with a very steep climb and spectacular views at the top of Fiske Peak.
This hike is ideal for hikers looking for a more challenging hike as this trail gains over 2,000 feet in elevation from the start of the trail head.
