Women Who Explore Kamloops – Sunset Hike
Join Women Who Explore Kamloops Ambassador Jenna and other women on a sunset hike at the well known Sunset Trail in Kenna Cartwright park.
Sunset trail is 4.77km, it is rated easy and will take approximately 1.5 hours round trip. The path alters between single track and double track packed dirt.
How to get there (directions adapted from http://www.hikekamloops.ca): Start on the TransCanada Highway heading west. Take exit 366 and keep right onto Copperhead Rd. Continue 100m and then turn left onto Hillside Dr. The Kenna Cartwright parking lot is well sign and will be on your right!
Suggested items to bring:
*Your full supply of water for the day
*Pack snacks and/or a light lunch
*dress appropriately – bring layers and remember gloves and a hat!
*rain coat/top layer/sun hat/sunglasses depending on weather forcast
*bring a light backpack to put layers in as you shed them
