Women Who Explore Hiking & Hot Springs Weekend Getaway Snoqualmie Pass, WA
December 8 @ 10:57 am
****Please read the information below in entirety before registering.****
Nestled between Mount Rainier and the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, Snoqualmie Pass offers some of the most incredible trails to explore!
This weekend you will have the opportunity to hike some of Washington’s most spectacular trails! Catch the view from the top of Rattlesnake Ledge, summit Mt. Si or Mailbox Peak, and explore one of the many beautiful trails in the Snoqualmie area such as Franklin Falls, Gem Lake, Kendall Katwalk and so many more! With a beautiful, modern home (with a hot tub) as basecamp for the weekend and 7 other like-minded women to adventure with, this weekend will be one you won’t forget!
DAY ONE: Arrive at the cabin located an hour east of Seattle, Washington. Check in between 4 – 6 p.m., settle in and meet your roommate.
After settling in, the weekend will get started with an optional sunset hike. Plan to leave the cabin around 6:30 p.m. Some of the hiking options for this evening include Little Si, Garfield Ledges, Rattlesnake Ledge and more to catch an epic sunset view. After the hike return to the cabin, snack and settle in for a good nights sleep.
DAY TWO: Wake up in the mountains to the smell of fresh brewed coffee as a fresh, hot breakfast is prepared for you. Then it’s time to pack a lunch as we head out to explore one of the nearby trails. Depending on the weather and snow level, there is a handful of options you can choose from in the area. Gem Lake, Kendall Katwalk, Mount Si, Mailbox Peak and Mount Washington are a few of the more popular options to choose from.
After a full day of adventuring, return to the cabin where dinner will be served. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing by the fire or soaking in the private hot tub.
DAY THREE: Breakfast will be a repeat of the day before. Check out time is 10 am. Today we head to Goldmyer Hot Springs to soak in the natural springs and soaking tubs. The road to the hot springs requires high clearance so we will plan to carpool to the trailhead. From there it’s a 5 mile (10 mile RT) moderate hike to arrive at the hot springs. After a nice long soak, we will hike back to the trailhead and head home.
