Women Who Explore Bend, OR Burma Road Loop Hike
February 29, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us for a beautiful hike on the Burma Road Loop! Burma Road is a 7 mile, moderately trafficked loop trail located at Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne. The loop has 1,151 ft. in elevation gain, and is rated as moderate. We will meet at the yurt at Smith Rock at 10:00 am.
What to bring:
Layers appropriate for the weather
From Bend/Redmond, take Hwy. 97 North. Once you reach Terrebonne, turn right onto Smith Rock Way (you will see a sign for ‘Smith Rock State Park’). In a half mile, turn left onto NE 1st Street/Lambert Rd. In 2 miles, turn left onto NE Crooked River Dr. There are multiple parking sections. You will want to drive past the first parking section, and park closest to the middle section that is near the restrooms and the yurt.
Since Smith Rock is a state park, you will need to purchase a day use pass ($5). You may also purchase an Oregon State Parks parking pass for $30 that is good for 1 year.
