New Year’s Day Sunrise Hike with WWE

Start 2020 with a gorgeous sunrise over the Rockies!
We’ll be meeting at the trailhead for 5:50AM to sign waivers and huddle. Hiking departure is a strict 6AM as we have 2.5 hrs to make it to summit for sunrise.
The hike is rated hard and we would like to keep a moderate pace to reach sunset on time. That said, we will encourage each other to make it to the top!
Please note that Prairie is normally very windy at the summit so come prepared. Bring lots of warm layers, extra socks, water, spikes, headlamps and plenty of snacks. Warm cider is always welcome.
