Fall Camping, Hiking & Paddling at Perrot State Park!
Join Women Who Explore groups from Illinois & Wisconsin and let’s go camping at Perrot State Park in Trempealeau, Wisconsin! Perrot is a gem of a state park in Wisconsin. It’s in the driftless region of wisconsin and surrounded by the bluffs of the Misssissippi Rver. There’s many hiking and paddling opportunities!
Let’s camp Friday and Saturday night. YOU MUST BOOK YOUR OWN CAMPSITE FOR THIS TRIP. Go to the Wisconsin DNR camping reservation website to book your campsite. https://wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/. I’m booked a site 43 if you want to get something close! You will be required to bring your own food & camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag, pad, cooking utensils, etc.).
There are canoe and kayak rentals at the state park and wonderful canoe trail!
This event will be relaxed and you will be able to choose the hikes and/or paddles you want to do. Once we’re at the location we can decide which hikes we want to do and can break off into groups, go together, or you’re welcome to explore solo – whatever floats your boat!
